Materials needed for applying for the work permit (Type B)
1. Application form for Foreigner’s Work Permit (provided by employer institute)
2. Job qualification certificate (provided by previous employer institute, should state employee’s working experiences, working periods, position and so on and the certificate should be signed by the employer in charge and get stamped)
3. Highest degree diploma (documents should have consular authentication or notarization)
4. Non-criminal records (issued by local police or security department and documents should have consular authentication or notarization, valid for 6 months )
5. Physical examination certificate (valid for 6 months)
6. Contract
7. Passport
8. E-photo (2 inch with white background)
9. Other necessary materials
P.S. After obtaining the working permit notice, the foreign teacher could apply for the chinses working visa (Z) at local Chinese Consulate General or Embassy.
After arriving in Nanjing, foreign teacher should apply for the temporary residence registration (online application by the university, within 24 hours).
NMU would help the foreign teacher get the working permit card within 15 days after the arrival.
NMU would help the foreign teacher get the residence permit at the visa office within 30 days after the arrival.
