Nanjing Medical University and Canada’s NOIC Academy Hold Signing Ceremony for the International Student Recruitment Base

On January 12, 2025, Nanjing Medical University (NMU) and Canada’s NOIC Academy jointly held a signing ceremony for establishing an ‘International Student Recruitment Base’, creating a long-term cooperative mechanism for sharing international educational resources and delivering high-quality student recruitment. Attendees included NMU Party Committee Standing Member and Vice President Feng Feng, Dean of the School of International Education Chen Yun, NOIC Academy Executive President Roy Huang, and Chairman of the Advisory Board and former Director General of the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) Jeffrey Beard, among other representatives from both institutions.




Dean Chen Yun introduced the current status and plans for NMU’s international education for students coming to China, highlighting the school’s unique strengths in internationalized education. Executive President Roy Huang shared NOIC Academy’s educational features, international education model, and achievements. Jeffrey Beard, Chairman of the Advisory Board, spoke highly of the significance of internationalized education. By establishing international cooperation platforms in fields such as clinical medicine and nursing, the collaboration aims to cultivate global leaders with outstanding abilities and broad vision, showcasing the essential role of education in shaping an international community.




Vice President Feng Feng noted that this collaboration, through establishing of an international student recruitment base, will enable in-depth sharing of educational resources and project cooperation. It will significantly enhance NMU’s level of internationalization, inject new momentum into its “Double First-Class” initiative, and provide more students with access to high-quality educational resources and extensive international exchange opportunities. In the future, both parties will work together to deepen collaboration and advance international education to new heights.
