From July 20 to 25, Ren Xinrui and Huang Kongjie won bronze medals in Women's Group A (53kg) and Men's Group A (65kg) in the Chinese College Students Taekwondo Championship. Huang Kongjie also received the Sportsmanship Mortality Award.
This event was hosted by Federation of University Sports of China (FUSC), sponsored by Taekwondo Branch of FUSC and organized by Yancheng Teachers University. A total of 1,136 athletes from 144 colleges and universities competed with each other in this event. It is the first time for NMU to participate in this event and also the first time to get great achievements in this high-level national event.
