From April 14th to 15th, Professor MaikenNedergaard, Co-Director of Center for Translational Neuromedicine of University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC), visited NMU and she was met with the Vice President Ji Yong and other staff from the Department of International Cooperation and Exchange, Department of Science and Technology.
Vice President Ji Yong warmly introduced the institution in terms of talent education, research and discipline construction, which won a high appreciation from professor Nedergaard.
During the visit, Professor Nedergaard observed the Exhibition of the History of NMU and Jiangsu Key Laboratory of Neurodegenerative Disease, and launched an academic report titled The Glymphatic System.
Professor MaikenNedergaard is a world-renowned Neuroscientist, who has been granted as the Academician from Royal Danish Academy of Sciences and Letters, Spanish Royal Academy of Pharmacy and the Academy of Europe.
