Regional Anatomy

Regional Anatomy is a course to study the location, shape and constitution, body surface projection, layer arrangements and adjacent structures, blood supply and nerveinnervations of organs and structures. We focus on the medical students' clinical training objectives to organize the course of regional anatomy. We design this course based on the divisions of human body and put stress on the organ combination in anatomic basis and its clinical application. Every academic year, we use 82 periods to teach regional anatomy in English for international students in grade two, the ratio of lecture and practice is 2:1.
1)Introduction, body wall: total 16 periods, theory teaching: practice teaching=1:1
2) Upper and lower limbs: total 16 periods, theory teaching: practice teaching=1:1
3) Head and face: total 6 periods, theory teaching: practice teaching=1:1
4) Neck: total 10 periods, theory teaching: practice teaching=1:1
5) Thoracic cavity: total 16 periods, theory teaching: practice teaching=1:1
6) Abdominal cavity: total 16 periods, theory teaching: practice teaching=1:1
7) Retroperitoneal space and pelvic cavity: total 6 periods, theory teaching: practice teaching=1:1
