BM Program in Medical Imaging (English Medium)
I. PROGRAM
Bachelor of Medicine in Medical Imaging.
Medical imaging is an important branch of clinical medicine, which is one of the fastest developing and most extensive disciplines in modern medical field, including sub-specialties such as radiologic diagnostic radiology (X ray，CT and MRI), interventional radiology, ultrasound imaging, nuclear medicine and imaging technology. The School of Medical Imaging has been authorized to grant doctorate in Imaging and Nuclear Medicine and was designated as College Specialty Construction Unit in Jiangsu Province in 2006. The Medical Imaging Experimental Demonstration Center of Jiangsu Province was built in 2009. The specialties of Medical Imaging and Medical Imaging Technology enroll 100 bachelor students per year at present.
The school of Medical Imaging has 3 affiliated hospitals, 20 non-affiliated hospitals and 50 teaching hospitals, which is the largest and most comprehensive medical imaging teaching base group in Jiangsu Province. There are 4 doctoral student advisors and 18 Master’s student advisors in The First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University and 16 doctoral student advisors and 70 Master’s student advisors in other affiliated hospitals, making up a strong teaching team. Over one hundred SCI papers and three hundred Chinese core journal papers were published during the recent three years. Our school undertook 18 national natural scientific foundation program projects and 17 province level projects. In order to strengthen the level of clinical and scientific research, the First Affiliated Hospital possesses a variety of imaging equipment, including 7 sets of MR, 11 sets of CT and 16 sets of DR, etc.
From 2014 to 2017, the average employment rate of students majoring in medical imaging was almost 100%, which was much higher than that of other majors. 88.5% of the employers in general hospitals think more highly of the graduates of our school than those of other medical colleges. All postgraduates from the Radiology Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University received positions in tertiary hospitals in 2018. The salary of radiologists in the United States has always been among the top clinical sub-specialties, and it’s one of the first choices of residency for American medical students. In one word, the future of Medical Imaging is extremely bright.

VI.CRITERIA & ELIGIBILITY
1.Age: 18 to 25
2. Requirement of high-school study subjects (The subject requirements include physics, chemistry, biology and English). Students who submit SAT, IELTS, TOEFL IBT results have priority to be admitted and given scholarship. High-school mathematics training is strongly desired.
●Applicants who provide high School transcript: GPA: 3.0 (out of 4.0) or above.
●Applicants who submit GCE A-level: all subjects should be C or above.
●Applicants who attend Indian State Board Examination: the mark secured of all the subjects/the maximum mark of all the subjects should be 85% or above. CBSE: 70% or above. A National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) score 60% above the cutoff set by National Testing Agency (India) is strongly desired.
VII.APPLICATION DATE
Apply from January 1, 2019 to June 30, 2019.
VIII.APPLICATION PROCEDURE
1. Log on the online application system: http://admission.njmu.edu.cn/.
2. Pay an application fee of CNY500 and a non-refundable deposit of CNY12,500 (CNY13,000 in total). The CNY12,500 deposit will count for part of your tuition payment after registration.
3. NMU will send ADMISSION NOTICE and the Visa Application Form for Study in China (JW202) after receiving the deposit.
4. Apply for an X Visa in an embassy or consulate of P. R. China, along with the Admission Notice and the JW202 form.
IX.REQUIRED ATTACHMENTS
（each attachment should be in A4 size, jpg format, and less than 0.5MB）
1.Passport copy with at least 1-year validity period.
2.Highest diploma/degree (notarized photocopy).
3.Transcripts of the most advanced studies (notarized photocopy).
4.Certificate of non-criminal record.

X. FEE STRUCTURE (CNY)
1. Application Fee: CNY 500 (first year only)
2. Tuition: CNY 34,000/Year
3. Accommodation Fee: double room, CNY 6,000/ (Person*Year)
The total of the above three items is CNY40,500.
