NMU Achieves First Prize in Jiangsu Undergraduates’ Intercultural Communicative Competence Competition


In the first Jiangsu Undergraduates’ Intercultural Communicative Competence Competition sponsored by Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press and held in Nanjing University on October 31, 2018, Zhao Jianyi from 2017 Batch in Clinical Medicine (eight-year program) achieved the highest score in the English language competence in the final and won the First Prize with great confidence, solid basic English skills and outstanding oral English expression ability, demonstrating the demeanor and prominent intercultural communicative competence of NMU students. Li Na and Fu Ying won the Prominent Academic Advisor Award.

This Competition was jointly organized by College Foreign Language Teaching and Research Association of Jiangsu Province, Jiangsu Translators Association, Jiangsu Foreign Language Institute and Shanghai Foreign Language Education Press, with approximately 100 undergraduates from Jiangsu competing for the awards.
