The 7th Robot Competition for University Students of Jiangsu Province, organized by Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education and Jiangsu Association for Science and Technology, was hosted in Wuxi from October 18 to 20, 2016. After a fierce competition for a day and a half, three NMU teams, composed of 15 undergraduate students from the School of Basic Medical Sciences, won a first prize and two third prizes.
This robot competition included industrial robots, security robots, medical robots and other programs. Over 1,600 contestants of 520 teams from 82 universities and colleges participated in the competition that aims to develop the students’ capabilities of innovation, practice and application of knowledge as well as their team work spirits.
