Mr. Ren Jinsheng, the Chairman of Simcere, led a delegation to visit NMU on the morning of August 24th, 2016. President Shen Hongbing, Vice President Li Jianqing and directors or deans of Office of the President, Department of Science and Technology, Animal Core Facility, School of Pharmacy, and Center of Safety Assessment and Research for Drugs and Pesticides attended the meeting.
President Shen Hongbing welcomed the Simcere delegation and pointed out that a deep cooperation between medical institutions and related enterprises is particularly important, as our country is taking efforts to promote the linkage of medical care, insurance & pharmaceutical industry in a new situation of convergence of health cause and health industry. Mr. Ren Jinsheng introduced the recent development of Simcere and BioScikin (BSK) and expected all-around deep cooperation with NMU. Both parties made a key discussion on how to further carry out a business and share resources around the topic of precision medicine and translational medicine, and reached a preliminary consensus.
During the visit, the delegation also took a tour of the Scientific Research Sharing Platform of the School of Public Health, National Birth Cohort (Nanjing) Sample Library of the State Key Laboratory of Reproductive Medicine and Animal Core Facility of Nanjing Medical University.
