A Delegation of ten members from the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO) of Japan, led by Shuji Yumitori, General Director of Robot and Artificial Intelligence Technology Department, visited the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University (NMU). The Japanese guests were received by Shi Jinlou, Deputy Party Secretary and Secretary of Discipline Inspection Commission of NMU, and leaders of the Second Affiliated Hospital and its Kidney Center and other relevant departments.
In the talks, two parties elaborated on the implementation of cooperation, experimental statistics and some issues that need to be dealt with for the next stage.
Deputy Party Secretary Shi Jinlou extended a warm welcome to the NEDO delegation and gave a high appraisal to the accomplishment achieved through NMU-NEDO cooperation. Shi expected that NEDO and the Kidney Center would deepen the cooperation and complement each other. Both parties should abide by the Chinese regulations of medical equipment and promote future work.
Founded in 1980, the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization is the largest core research and development institute in Japan, with energy-saving, new energy, electronic materials, biopharmaceutics as its main fields. It is affiliated with the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. The aim of this cooperation with NMU is to study and verify the water purification system to produce high-standard water for hemodialysis, which conforms to Chinese characteristics.
