From August 31 to September 4, the 2016 Registration for international students at Nanjing Medical University (NMU) took place in Jiangning Campus. The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) organized these registration events to facilitate the students to complete the enrollment procedures. In 2016, NMU enrolls a total number of 143 new full-time students at different levels, of which 24 are recipients of Chinese Government Scholarship.
The new international students of this year come from 20 countries around the world such as India, Sri Lanka, Mauritius, Thailand, and Canada covering Asia, Africa, North America, South America and Oceania. Among them, 105 are undergraduate students, 26 master’s students and 12 doctoral students. Meanwhile, the numbers of doctoral students and students funded by the China Scholarship Council (CSC), for the first time, reached two digits.
In recent years, the number of enrolled international students of NMU has been increasing, and the level has been improved as well, which has greatly promoted the internationalization and the global popularity of our university.
