A delegation from Tohoku University, led by Professor Masahiro Kohzuki, Director of Internal Medicine and Rehabilitation Science in Tohoku University School of Medicine, paid a visit to Nanjing Medical University on July 22, 2016. They were received in Sui Yue Pavilion in Wutai campus by Wang Hong, a standing member of Party Committee of NMU and the Party Secretary of the First Affiliated Hospital, as well as directors and teachers from the Department of International Cooperation & Exchange and the School of Rehabilitation.
The two sides conducted deep exchanges on rehabilitation medicine and other issues. They pointed out that rehabilitation medicine is one of the key disciplines in the field of medicine in both China and Japan. The two parties should deepen their cooperation and exchange to make greater contributions to the welfare of human beings and to the development of rehabilitation medicine. Professor Masahiro Kohzuki was also appointed an adjunct professor of Nanjing Medical University.
Tohoku University and Nanjing Medical University have made comprehensive exchanges in the field of rehabilitation medicine. NMU has dispatched teachers and students to carry out collaborative research in Japan every year, and they have achieved fruitful outcomes.
