NMU Hosted an Initiation Meeting for the 7th National Clinical Skills Competition (East China Division)

On March 10th, 2016, Nanjing Medical University hosted an initiation meeting for the upcoming 7th National Clinical Skills Competition (East China Division). University leadership, including President Shen Hongbing, Vice President Wang Lin and officials from relevant departments attended the meeting. A galaxy of scholars were also present at the initiation, including Deputy Director Chi Baorong of the Research Center of Clinical Medical Education of the Ministry of Education, Zhang Siqin, a supervisor of the Center, Chen Zhouwen, the Executive Deputy Director of the Clinical Skills Center of Zhejiang University School of Medicine and 85 delegates from 33 universities and colleges. The initiation meeting was presided over by Vice President Wang Lin.

President Shen Hongbing gave a welcome speech and a brief introduction to the development of Nanjing Medical University in recent years, especially during the period of the National 12th Five-Year Plan. He expressed his appreciation for all the delegates and the determination to wholeheartedly organize the competition to make it an event with characteristics, quality and effectiveness. Deputy Director Chen Zhouwen, Provost Gao Xingya of NMU, Professors Zhang Siqin and Chi Baorong shared their experience in preparing and hosting such activities and briefed the delegates on the preparation work for the competition of this year. The delegates also had a discussion on other relevant work.

Afterwards, all the delegates visited and inspected the accommodation facility of the competition.
