Recently, Elsevier released the 2014 list of “Most Cited Chinese Researchers”, which analyzed 38 subjects and finally ranked 1651 most influential Chinese researchers. 7 scholars in our university are on the list. Among them, Shen Hongbing, Yang Junwei, Wang Xinru, Huang Xinen, Chen Shaoliang, Lv Ling are in the category of Medicine, and Hu Zhibin is in the category of Biochemistry, Genetics and Molecular Biology.
The list was drawn from statistical analysis of data from Elsevier’s Scopus database. “Most Cited Chinese Researchers” means the total citations of the papers published by these researchers as first authors or corresponding authors were at the top level in their academic fields among all mainland Chinese researchers. The scholars on the list of “Most Cited Chinese Researchers” are considered to have significant impacts in the world with their scientific research achievements having great contributions in respective fields.
