In 2013, the Nanjing Medical University International Cooperation and Exchange office seized of a historic opportunity in the internationalisation of higher education, launching a number of international exchanges and cooperation projects in line with NMU development strategy. This has actively accelerated the creation of an “internationally renowned, distinctive and superior medical university.”
NMU has worked to further international education cooperation, improve teaching quality, improve the working environment of foreign experts, and introduce talent and expert research from overseas.
The Jiangsu Association of International Education Exchange named NMU an “Advanced Collective of Jiangsu International Academic Cooperation & Education” while the Jiangsu Higher Education Association Foreign Language Expert Research Council named NMU an “Advanced Unit of Jiangsu Foreign Expert Management.”
