Two More NMU Subjects Enter the Top 1% of the ESI Global Ranking of Research Institutes

According to the most recent data from the American Thomson Reuters Essential Science Indicators (ESI), as of February 2014, our school has had two more subjects, ‘Neuroscience and Behaviour’ and ‘Social Sciences, General’ counted among the top 1% of the ESI global ranking of research institutes. The former is ranked 791 of the 808 research institutes for that discipline in the top 1%, whilst the latter is ranked 1195 of 1253. As of now, the university has 4 subjects that are among the top 1% of global research institutions. Other than the two subjects just ranked, these also include ‘Clinicial Medicine’ and ‘Pharmacology and Toxicology’.
