The school offers two programs for undergraduate education, focusing on Physical Therapy (PT) and Occupational Therapy (OT).

I. Physical Therapy (PT)

Main courses: English, Basic Computer, Physics, Systematic Anatomy, Human Development, Medical Physiology & Biochemistry, Human Disease Foundation, Basic Clinical Medicine, Overview of Clinical Diseases, Neurology, Kinematics, Rehabilitation Evaluation, Exercise Therapy, Physical Factor Therapy, Brace Orthosis, Manipulative Therapy, Environmental Assisted Science & Technology, Physical Therapy of Orthopedics, Physical Therapy of Cardiopulmonary, Physical Therapy of Neurology, Rehabilitation Psychology.

II. Occupational Therapy (OT)

Main courses: English, Basic Computer, Physics, Systematic Anatomy, Human Development, Medical Physiology & Biochemistry, Human Disease Foundation, Basic Clinical Medicine, Overview of Clinical Disease, Neurology, Kinematics, Rehabilitation Evaluation, Occupational Therapy Theory, Occupational Therapy of Adult Nervous System Disease and Injury, Occupational Therapy of Development and Developmental Disorders, Occupational Therapy of Psychological and Social Disorders, Occupational Therapy of Related Musculoskeletal Disorders, Elderly Health Promotion, Occupational Therapy of Burns and Visceral Disease, Exercise Therapy, Physical Factor Therapy, Brace Orthosis, Manipulative Therapy, Environmental Assisted Science & Technology, Rehabilitation Psychology.

Main teaching process: Teaching of the first year will be focused on the public basic courses; since the second semester of the second year, teaching will be divided into two types: Physical Therapy (PT) and Occupational Therapy (OT); study of basic academic courses and main academic courses lasts for two years; internship for graduation has to be more than 48 weeks. Student who has completed all the courses stipulated by teaching program with qualified academic records, passed the national English Test CET-4 or passed the NMU English Test for academic degree, and achieved qualified result of Jiangsu Computer Test Level 1, can be allowed to graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree.

Job choices: Different levels of rehabilitation hospitals or related departments, rehabilitation or related departments of health system at different levels, school or department of rehabilitation medicine, or teaching and research department of rehabilitation medicine of medical institutions, community-level rehabilitation or related organizations, and sports teams or federations of disabled persons at different levels.
