The scientific research projects and achievements are fruitful. In the past five years, we have won 466 scientific research projects, 97 of which were funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China，research and research expenditure was 79.86 million Yuan. We published 2,266 papers and 65 monographs. Obtained more than 40 national authorized patents; 2 Jiangsu Provincial Government Science and Technology Progress awards, 12 Jiangsu Provincial Health and Family Planning Commission Medical Technology Introduction awards,1 Jiangsu Medical Science and Technology award,1 Jiangsu Education Teaching and Research Achievement award, 14 State Intellectual Property Office Invention patents, 31 Utility Model patents, 11 National Copyright Administration Computer Software Copyrights, awarded 2 key disciplines of Jiangsu Provincial Health Commission, 4 innovation teams, 4 key talents, 2 key Jiangsu Clinical Specialties, 2 Jiangsu Provincial Health Commission Grass-Roots Incubation Centers,1 key discipline of Nanjing Medical University, 3 university-level key laboratories. In the rankings of medical institutions of Nature Index 2018, our hospital ranks 45th. Science and Technology Evaluation Metrics (STEM) 2018 in Chinese hospitals, Digestive medicine and Nephrology in our hospital are listed in the top 100 in China.
