Jiangsu Province Pharmaceutical Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center is the third batch of teaching demonstration center key construction project of Nanjing Medical University and the first batch of co-built laboratory with Jiangsu Province and National Health Commission. The center was established in 2009, and approved by Jiangsu At present, the center has a construction area of 5600 square meters, and a total equipment value of more than five million RMB. For each year the center undertakes the experimental teaching tasks of basic chemistry and organic chemistry for undergraduates majored in medicine and related ones. In addition, the experiments of inorganic chemistry, analytical chemistry, physical chemistry, organic chemistry of pharmacy, pharmaceutical analysis, pharmaceutical chemistry Natural pharmaceutical chemistry, medicinal botany and pharmacognosy, pharmacy, biopharmaceutics and pharmacokinetics, molecular biology and biochemistry are undertaken for undergraduates majored in clinical pharmacy and pharmacy. The total number of teaching hours multiplied by the number of students per year is about 128,000.

Since the establishment, 8 awards of the National Pharmaceutical/Traditional Chinese Medicine College Students Experimental Skills Competition, 9 prizes in the Invitational Competition of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Knowledge and Experimental Skills for college students in Jiangsu province, and 10 prizes in the Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Experiment Competition for college students in Jiangsu province were obtained.
