Three Foreign Experts Appointed Visiting and Adjunct Professors of NMU

On May 18th, 2018, three foreign experts who came to attend the First Sino-US International Conference on Lung Cancers were appointed visiting professor and adjunct professor of Nanjing Medical University. The President of NMU, Dr. Hongbing Shen, met with the three professors and awarded letters of appointment to them.

  

The three experts were Prof. Christopher I. Amos, the Director for the Institute of Clinical and Translational Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine, Dr. Antoine M. Snijders, the Director of Biological Systems and Engineering at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL), and Dr. Jianhua Mao, the Chief Scientist in LBNL. President Hongbing Shen had a cordial talk with them and expressed the appreciation for their support to NMU, and looked forward to the further assistant and guidance on scientific research projects, faculty training, student cultivation, and academic exchange. The three experts agreed to continue promoting mutual cooperation and devote to scientific research and faculty and students training so as to result in a multi-directional and deeper collaboration.
