In May and June, 2018, the Third School of Clinical Medicine has completed seven thesis defenses of international students from the School of International Education of Nanjing Medical University. These students were Auchoybur Luveanand Merveesh (Cardio-Thoracic Surgery), Senthur Rajendren Vanniar (Orthopedic Surgery), Umair Masood (Orthopedic Surgery), Mohammed Jameeluddin Ahmed (Medical Imaging), Mustafa Razi (Medical Imaging), Suhreet Manandhar (General Surgery) and Sayyada Orainab Jalal (General Surgery). Their mentors were: Chen Xin, Wang Liming, Gu Jianping and Liu ZiJun. External experts were invited to participate in the defenses. They came from People's Hospital of Jiangsu Province, Sir Run Run Hospital affiliated to Nanjing Medical University, Nanjing General Hospital of Nanjing Military Command and Zhongda Hospital affiliated to Southeast University.
The experts listened carefully to the elaboration of every student, put forward a series of questions, and commented on each graduation thesis during the process. The international students answered the questions raised by the experts, and passed there thesis defenses smoothly.
