On the afternoon of Dec. 1st, 2017, some fun games on campus fire safety, with the theme of “focus on fire protection to share safety for all”, were held in the basketball court of Jiangning campus. NMU Vice President Xu Shan, Vice-captain Tu Wenkang of the Fire Team of Jiangning High-tech Park as well as deans and directors of NMU attended this activity.
Vice President Xu Shan delivered an opening speech. She pointed out that safety is an important foundation and solid guarantee of the university development, and the safety of fire protection is the most important part. The activity made a good combination between fun games and knowledge of fire protection. To promote the mastering of knowledge and skills of fire protection while having fun games, it is good to create a campus atmosphere of everyone safety, everywhere safety and every time safety, and to enhance the awareness of fire protection among students and teachers.
The activity contained three events for competition which were divided into 3 students relay toextinguish the fire with a fire hose, 2 students crossing the fire to simulate the escaping and 2 students relay to extinguish the fire with a fire extinguisher.
