On the morning of Nov. 27th, 2017, the opening ceremony for the 2017 Short-term Exchange Program between Nanjing Medical University and Queensland University of Technology was held in Jiangning campus. Ji Yong, vice president of NMU, welcomed the 15 international students from QUT and introduced the basic situation of Jiangsu Province, City of Nanjing and NMU. He hoped that all the QUT international students could live and study smoothly during their stay in Nanjing. Caitlin Dixon delivered a speech on behalf of all the QUT international students. She expressed that she was pleased to have the chance to participate in the exchange program at NMU, and looked forward to the upcoming 2-week events including Chinese study, cultural experience, medical lectures and hospital visits.
The NMU-QUT Short-term Exchange Program is a new measure of deepening cooperation on the basis of long-term cooperation between Nanjing Medical University and Queensland University of Technology, which will strongly promote the educational internationalization of NMU.
