The Forum on Academic Journals in Future was held in Beijing on November 22, 2017. Journal of Biomedical Research (JBR), a journal published by Nanjing Medical University, was granted the title of “Excellent Chinese Journal with the Most International Academic Influence”. It is the third year consecutively for JBR to receive this honorable title since 2015.
The prize was set by the library of Tsinghua University and Evaluation Center for Chinese Academic Literature. The center has analyzed the international influences of 3,500 academic journals in the field of natural sciences. Top 5% (175 journals) won the prize of “Excellent Chinese Journal with the Most International Academic Influence”. Top 5%-10% (175 journals) won the prize of “Excellent Chinese Journal with Academic Influence”. The international influential index of JBR broke into Top 5%, being 93th among the 175 journals.
