The Third Jinling Forum of Pancreas, organized by Pancreas Branch of Jiangsu Medical Association and hosted by the First Affiliated Hospital of NMU, was held in Nanjing on September 14-16, 2017. Over 500 Chinese and foreign scholars specializing in pancreatic surgery and gastroenterology participated in the forum. It was attended by Tang Jinhai, Vice President of NMU and President of the First Affiliated Hospital, and Hu Yin, Secretary -General of Jiangsu Medical Association.
The forum is a multidisciplinary feast covering a broad range of disciplines related to pancreas. Both domestic and foreign experts were invited to discuss the latest treatments of pancreatic diseases by giving keynote speeches, sharing case studies and showing demonstration videos. Professor Miao Yi of the First Affiliated Hospital showed his demo of classic pancreaticoduodenectomy.
