Dr. Joseph D. Tucker and Dr. Weiming Tang from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill visited NMU on March 17th, 2017. President Shen Hongbing and the Dean of School of Public Health received the guests.
President Shen Hongbing welcomed their visit and hoped the two parties could strengthen the cooperation on teaching and research and promote the internationalization together. In addition, they also made discussions on building the overseas faculty training base, conducting student oversea internship & short-term visit and launching joint scientific research cooperation.
During the visit, Dr. Tucker also gave the faculty and students a lecture on “Spurring Innovation in Health: A Crowdsourcing Approach”.
