A world famous rehabilitation medicine expert Professor John L. Melvin from Thomas Jefferson University visited NMU on December 2nd, 2016. Dr. Wang Hong, a standing member of CPC Committee of NMU and Secretary of CPC Committee of the First Affiliated Hospital, and the Dean of the School of Rehabilitation Medicine met with the guest.
During the discussion, both parties introduced the development of rehabilitation medicine and hoped to strengthen the exchange and cooperation and continuously promote the development of rehabilitation medicine.
Professor John L. Melvin also visited the Jiangning campus of NMU and the Zhongshan Branch of the First Affiliated Hospital.
Professor John L. Melvin is the Jessie B. Michie Professor and Chairman of the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, the Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University and was the first Chairman of the International Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (ISPRM). He has enjoyed a high reputation in the field of rehabilitation medicine, and has served as an important memberin more than 50 national and international expert consulting groups.
