Dr. Sato Toshihiko, a radiologist on Utsunomiya Central Clinic's administration board, visited the First Affiliated Hospital on Nov. 11th, 2016. Vice President of Nanjing Medical University and the President of the First Affiliated Hospital Dr. Tang Jinhai met with the guest. Directors and representatives of the Health Management Center and General Affairs Office of the hospital as well as NMU Department of International Cooperation & Exchange attended the meeting.
Dr. Tang warmly welcomed the guest and introduced the basic situation of the hospital. He hoped through deep exchange and cooperation, a broader platform for mutual academic exchange and technological cooperation could me made, which could promote the development of related medical technology. In the meeting, both parties had discussions on early cancer screening, distant diagnosis, and health management. Dr. Sato Toshihiko also listened to the basic introduction of the Health Management Center and visited some facilities.
Set up in 1995, Utsunomiya Central Clinic is a regional diagnostic imaging center in Japan and is also accredited as a breast cancer precise inspection medical institution by the health care section of the Japanese government. The clinic is a pioneer of early cancer screening, especially in the diagnostic imaging area in Japan.
