The Achievement Report Meeting and Closing Ceremony of the 2016 NMU Autumn Reading Festival was held in the College Student Activity Center on Nov. 9. The reading festival lasted for almost one month. Directors from the related departments, deputy secretary of party committee/branch and tutors of each school, and more than 500 student representatives attended the ceremony.The reading festival was the 28th in the past 14 years, with the theme of reciting Chinese classics and singing China’s dream, which had carried out a series of activities such as a hundredfamous professors recommending good books, student human library, etc. The closing ceremony was centered on the three chapters of Red Classics, Sinology Classics and Contemporary Classics, and the representatives of teachers and students shared their understandings of the books. In addition, a special guest, Mr. Qin Chao, a doctor from the First Affiliated Hospital (Jiangsu Province Hospital), gave a motivational musical performance as well, expounding his understanding of life and pursuit of dreams.
