（1）Responsible for organizing research on higher education theory and school-based education. In response to the problems in the development of the school, IME tracks the development of domestic and foreign universities, organizes special investigations and research reports, writes special reports to provide guidance and policy advice to school leaders and relevant departments, and provides reference for education and teaching decisions.

（2）Responsible for the preparation and supervision of school talents, the development of education planning, implementation of the second-level college talent training and education, and teaching development plan.

（3）Responsible for organizing the application, evaluation, appraisal and fund management of various educational research projects at all levels. It is also responsible for organizing teaching achievement awards, education research awards, advanced individuals in education and scientific research, advanced collective’s application, review and recommendation.

（4）Responsible for the work of the Secretariat of Jiangsu Provincial Higher Medical Education Research Association and NMU Teaching Committee.

（5）Responsible for the organization of teaching evaluation projects such as teaching evaluation and major certification carried out by the higher authorities.

（6）Responsible for organizing the development and operation of the teaching quality monitoring system such as school teaching evaluation and quality assessment.

（7）Responsible for organizing the collection, reporting, analysis, notification and supervision of basic teaching data.

（8）Implement Medical education discipline and academic exchanges at home and abroad.

（9）Assist the relevant departments of the school to organize education and teaching reforms.

（10）Complete other tasks assigned by the higher authorities and schools, and cooperate with other departments to do relevant work.
