Ⅰ. PROGRAM
Nanjing Medical University enrolls international undergraduates on MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery) program, with English as medium of teaching. The study duration of MBBS program is 6 years (including 1-year internship). Graduates who reach the qualification of graduation will be awarded “Diploma Certification” and graduates who reach the qualification of the Degree Rule will be awarded the Bachelor Degree of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery,MBBS.

Ⅳ. CRITERIA & ELIGIBILITY
1.   The qualified applicant should be over 18 year-old and under 25 year-old (born from Sep 1st, 1991to Sep 1st, 1998 ) with good physical and mental health, and outstanding school grades, which is equivalent to foreign citizen received Chinese senior high school diploma.
2.   To the applicant who abandoned his/her original Chinese nationality then joined a foreign nationality, Nanjing Medical University follows the Document No. 83 (2009) from Ministry of Education of China, which can be generally found as follows: If the applicant, who emigrates from any region like China Mainland, Hong Kong, Macao or Taiwan, applies for our university as an international student, then he/she should hold the valid foreign passport or nationality prove for above (including) four years, and a record of actual living in the abroad in the recent four years (actual living in the abroad at least for nine months can be counted as one year, which is subject to the signature page of the passport entry and exit.) . According to the Document No. 83 from the Ministry of Education of China, applicant who abandoned his/her Chinese Nationality then joined a foreign nationality, should submit the documents as follows: Naturalization prove; Cancellation of the original proof of residence; Signature page of the passport entry and exit of the last four years; Study certificate in the abroad in recent four years.
3.   Requirement of high school exam results
Mauritius applicants: applicants should provide A-Level results if they attend the A-Level examination. The obtained grades of all the subjects should be C or above.
Sri Lanka applicants: applicants can either provide Cambridge A-Level result or Local A-Level result. The obtained grades of all the subjects of Cambridge A-Level should be C or above. The obtained grades of all the subjects of Local A-Level should have at least one C or above.
Thailand applicants: The GPA of applicants’ high school total units should be 3.0 or above.
Indonesian applicants: applicants’ average score of Examination Results of Senior High School should be higher than 80 points.
Indian applicants: 1. Applicants who attend State Board Examination: the mark secured of all the subjects/the maximum mark of all the subjects should be 85% or above. 2. Applicants who attend Central Board of Secondary Education: the mark secured of all the subjects/the maximum mark of all the subjects should be 70% or above. 3. Applicants should provide A-Level results if they attend the A-Level examination. The obtained grades of all the subjects should be above C or above.
Ghanaian applicants: The obtained grades of all the subjects of The West African Examinations should be C or above.

The admission team of School of International Education of Nanjing Medical University will discuss and decide the admission of the applicants of other countries.

Ⅴ. APPLICATION DATE
Apply from Dec 1st of the year before registration to June 30th of the year of registration. If our university already enrolled 100 students before June of the year of registration, the admission work will be finished earlier and the detailed deadline will be announced in the website.

Ⅵ. WAY OF APPLICATION
Self-apply or apply via agents. In either way, applicants should apply through “Nanjing Medical University School of International Education Online Application System for International Students” (hereinafter referred to as “application system”).

Ⅶ. APPLICATION PROCEDURE
1.   Log on the application system and upload the required documents. The website of the application system is: http://admission.njmu.edu.cn/.
2.   Admission office will do the initial review and give feedback within 5 working days after the applicants submitted all the required documents successfully. To the applicants who pass the initial review, Admission office will send a system message of “pass initial review” and paying non-refundable deposit, meanwhile send an electrical Acceptance letter and a formal notice of paying non-refundable deposit to the applicant’s email.
3.   The admitted applicant should pay $2000 or CNY13, 000 as non-refundable deposit within 7 days after he/she received Acceptance letter. If the admitted applicant comes to register on the required date, the deposit will be transferred to his/her tuition fee and the student needs to pay the rest of the tuition fee after deduction of the deposit money.
4.   The admitted applicant should upload the deposit remittance receipt to online application system.
5.   Nanjing Medical University (NMU) will send CONFIRMATION OF ADMISSION and the Visa Application Form for Study in China (JW202) according to the contact information the applicant left in the application system after receiving the deposit of the admitted applicant.
6.   Admitted applicants should go to the embassies or consulates of P. R. China to apply for the X Visa to study in China, along with the Admission Notice and the JW202 form.
7.   Admitted applicants are required to come to the School of International Education(SIE),Nanjing Medical University (NMU), to register on the specified date, with the originals of the CONFIRMATION OF ADMISSION of NMU, the Physical Examination Form, and the JW202 form.

Ⅷ. REQUIRED ATTACHMENT
(each attachment should be in A4 size, jpg format, and less than 0.5MB)
1. Passport copy within validity period.
2. Highest diploma/degree (notarized photocopy). If the applicant is pursuing study or working at the time of application, should submit bona fide certificate or work experience certificate alone with the application form. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English.
3. Transcripts of the most advanced studies (notarized photocopy): Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English.

Ⅸ. FEE STRUCTURE (CNY)
1. Registration Fee (pay it on registration day): CNY 500;
2. Tuition Fee: CNY 34,000/Year;
3. Accommodation Fee: double room, CNY 6,000/ (Person*Year)
4. Refundable Deposit: CNY 4,000 (refund on Graduation Day).
The total of the above four items is CNY44, 500. Students should pay it in the Finance Department of our university on registration day.
5. Physical Examination fee: about CNY540/Person)
6. Residence Permit: about CNY400/ (Person*Year)
7. Textbooks: about CNY800/ (Person*Year)
The total of the above three items is about CNY1, 760. Students should prepare it in advance and pay it by themselves when going through the relevant procedure.

Ⅺ. REFUND
International student who wants to leave University after paying the tuition fee and the accommodation fee because of some reasons, the Finance Department of our university will refund the tuition and accommodation fees according to the relevant regulations.
