3. Research Interests

My research interests mainly focus on diet, nutrition and cancer. Currently, my research efforts are exploring the mechanisms by which dietary factors prevent and/or promote cancer development. In particular, I am interested in understanding the mechanisms of carcinogenesis, the action of dietary factors in cancer initiation and progression, and the anti-carcinogenic potential of dietary components especially phytochemicals for cancer intervention.
