An NMU delegation, comprised of Wang Jianming, a professor at the School of Public Health, Jiang Zhongli, a professor at the School of Rehabilitation Medicine, and Tang Weibing, an associate professor at the Fourth School of Clinical Medicine, participated in a conference with the theme of “Preventive Medicine, Rehabilitation and Convalescent Medicine” in Russia from October 11 to 15, 2016. The conference was organized by the Association of Sino-Russian Medical Universities (ASRMU).
During the visiting period, three professors attended such serial conferences as pediatric rehabilitation and preventive medicine, adult rehabilitation and preventive medicine, as well as preventive, rehabilitation and convalescent medicine of the past three millennia. They conducted deep exchange with domestic and foreign experts. Professor Wang Jianming was invited to make an oral presentation in the conference.
Composed of 92 high-level medical universities, the Association of Sino-Russian Medical Universities enjoys the largest scale among associations of Chinese and Russian universities, with an aim to pool medical resources of both sides, promote medical exchanges and scientific & technological cooperation, nurture high-quality talents, and enhance the capabilities of disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation.
