Dr. Clark Mitchell Stanford, Dean of College of Dentistry, and Dr. T. Peter Tsay from the Department of Orthodontics of the University of Illinois at Chicago visited NMU on October 19, 2016. President Shen Hongbing and Vice President Wang Lin received the guests on Jiangning campus. Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation & Exchange and leaders of the School of Stomatology attended the meeting.
After the mutual introduction of the basic situations of both schools, the two parties made discussions on collaboration in dental & oral field, faculty training, and student exchange and signed the agreement during the meeting. President Shen also awarded the Visiting Professor Certificate to Dr. Clark Mitchell Stanford.
During their trip to Nanjing, the two UIC professors opened the international course Facial Aesthetics for postgraduate students (including both Chinese and overseas students). They also visited the School of Public Health, the Affiliated Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital, Animal Core Facility and Reproductive Medicine Center on Jiangning campus.
