NMU Leaders Meet with Vice President for Editorial Development & Publisher Relations of Thomson Reuters

Vice President Lu Xiang of Nanjing Medical University met with James Testa, Vice President for Editorial Development & Publisher Relations of Thomson Reuters, on April 19. Directors of the NMU Press and the NMU Library joined the meeting.

The executive editor of Journal of Biomedical Research (JBR) introduced the main situation of JBR from 2012 to 2015. James Testa, who is in charge of Thomson Reuters’s journal selection process, congratulated NMU on the progress achieved by JBR, and emphasized the importance of developing the characteristics of journals as well as selecting high-quality manuscripts.

The two sides conducted deep discussions on such issues as further development of journals, promotion of excellent papers and enhancing the global impact of JBR.
