Delegation from Taipei Medical University Visit NMU

Led by Vice President Lin Chien-Huang, a delegation of nine members from Taipei Medical University paid a visit to Nanjing Medical University on March 11th, 2016. They were warmly welcomed by President Shen Hongbing, Vice President Li Jianqing, as well as directors from the Office of the President, Development Committee Office, Department of Science and Technology, Office of Hong Kong, Macao & Taiwan Affairs, School of Basic Medical Sciences, School of Stomatology, School of Nursing, School of Health Policy and Management, and the First School of Clinical Medicine.

Shen Hongbing and Lin Chien-Huang made detailed introductions to each other’s university. Two parties deeply discussed such topics as education and translational medicine, and reached a consensus on exchange of students and teachers. The delegation visited Experimental Animal Base for Medicine and Pharmacy in Nanjing Medical University, and the Drug Clinical Trial Center and Clinical Skill Training Center in the First Affiliated Hospital of NMU.

Founded in 1960, Taipei Medical University is a private medical university with three affiliated hospitals.
