Scholars in NMU Included in Elsevier's 2016 List of Most Cited Chinese Researchers

In February 2016, Elsevier released its 2016 List of Most Cited Chinese Researchers. 1744 highly cited Researchers across 40 subjects are recognized, increasing by 121 compared to the last year.

Sevens scholars of Nanjing Medical University are included in the list, making the University the 42nd in China’s schools of higher education. Six scholars are included in the field of “Medicine”, namely Shen Hongbing, Yang Junwei, Wang Xinru, Huang Xin’en, Chen Shaoliang, Lv Ling. Hu Zhibin is included in the field of “Biochemistry, Genetics & Molecular Biology”.

The list is based on the data of Elsevier's Scopus. “Highly cited Researchers” refers to the first or corresponding authors of the papers which rank the top in mainland China in terms of citations. Being included in the list means the scholar has a great impact on the scientific community and his/her research contributes greatly to relevant research fields.
