Clinical Molecular Diagnostics First Run Published

Clinical Molecular Diagnostics, a book financially supported by the State Key Subject Development in Clinical Medicine, was published by the People's Medical Publishing House in December 2013. The book was edited by Professor Pan Shiyang, director of the Department of Clinical Laboratory Medicine, the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University. The book was contributed to by more than 100 clinical specialists from all around the world, including the USA's MD Anderson Cancer Center and University of California at Los Angeles, together with China's Fudan Univeristy, Sichuan University, Zhejiang University, China Medical University, the Third Military Medical University, and The Fourth Military Medical University.
The book took three years to compile, with 100 clinical tests, with over 2.1 million words 400 figures published. Such a large and systematic overview of clinical molecular diagnostics is a first for China.
