Overseas Chinese in Europe Establishes NMU Brother Scholarship

An overseas Chinese residing in Europe named Peter Ju recently donated 4,000 euros to support the development of NMU education. Mr. Peter Ju set up the Brother Scholarship to support the work of researchers based at NMU who study treatment of mental illnesses, thereby encouraging and motivating students to work hard. The Brother Scholarship will help to further medical education career development at NMU.
 
The scholarship will be awarded for academic excellence to doctoral and masters candidates majoring in medical psychology.   Every year, each of the eight scholarship winners will be awarded 500 euros. This year, Chen Jianhuai and other seven other candidates were awarded the scholarship.
 
In the afternoon of January 14th, the Brother Scholarship award ceremony was held in the Mingde building conference room on NMU Wutai campus. The ceremony was attended by Peter Ju’s assistant Mr. Wei Feng, as well as secretaries from the Development office, graduate school, and related schools, together with the award winners.
