President Shen Hongbing and the Delegation Participate Academic Conferences and Conduct Cooperation in Hong Kong

From December 17-20, 2018, President Shen Hongbing led a delegation to the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine of the University of Hong Kong to attend the academic conference on medicine and health education, and went to the Chinese University of Hong Kong for cooperation and exchange. Relevant personnel of the Academic Affairs Office, the Institute of Medical Education and the School of  Stomatology were accompanied.

 

Organized by the Bau Institute of Medical and Health Sciences Education of the LKS Faculty of Medicine, the University of Hong Kong, the conference is an annual medical education event designed to provide academic exchanges and guidance for medical education leaders and experts around the world to discuss the general trend of development. The theme of this conference is Learning in Alliance: Inter-professional Health Education and Practice.


At the Chinese University of Hong Kong, President Shen Hongbing and the delegation met with Vice President Fok Tai-fai of the University. The two sides held key discussions on strategic cooperation, scientific research collaboration, teacher training and student exchange, and initially reached a cooperation intention. Subsequently, President Shen Hongbing went to the School of Public Health and Primary Care, and presented an academic report entitled Comparison Study of Lung Cancer Genetics and Genomics between Chinese and European Populations to the faculty and students of the school with enthusiastic responses.
