The Department consists of administrative office, teaching secretary, the first teaching and research section, the second teaching and research section, group competition teaching and research section, physical health test center, and gymnasium management center. At present there are 24 employees, 1 professor, 8 associate professors, 9 lecturers, 3 assistants, 2 managers, and 1 teacher’s aide in the Department. And 11 teachers have master’s degrees and 5 have the title of master sportsman. Major tasks of the Department include teaching of physical education courses, organization of extracurricular games and competitions, and training of sports teams.

In recent years, the Department grasps the opportunities and has made significant achievement in talent cultivation, research, and disciplinary development.
