1.The training objectives of clinical postgraduates
 
Professional Degree in Medicine (Master, Ph.D):
The training objective mainly focuses on the academic theoretical level and experimental ability. The final goal is to culture researchers suitable for the studies of basic theory or applied basic theory.
 
Specialty Degree in Clinical Medicine (M.M, M.D):
The training objective mainly focuses on the practical work ability in a specific career. The final goal is to culture advanced medical applied talents.
 
2.The culture duration
 
The general duration is 3 years. Also a flexible educational system can be adopted, of which the duration for doctoral candidates (Ph.D/M.D) is 3 to 8 years, and 3 to 5 years for master degree candidates (Master/M.M) (from admission to the time obtained a degree).

4.The duration and process of postgraduate education
 
1)Academic Master in Clinical Medicine:
 
The first year: complete the course study.
 
The second year: literature review, accomplish the review, confirm the research topic, formulate the scientific research design, carry out the opening report; complete the medium-term assessment; learn specialized courses and professional foreign language then get credits.
The third year: continue the research project and publish relevant articles in the journal; summary and analysis of the experimental results, write dissertations, paper review, apply for the thesis defense.
 
2)Academic Doctor in Clinical Medicine:
The first year: complete the course study in the first semester; finish the reading report in the second semester, as well as formulate the scientific research design and carry out the opening report.
The second year: proceed with the research project, undertake appropriate parts of teaching and clinical work; complete the study of specialized courses and professional foreign language then get credits; fulfill the doctoral mid-term assessment.
The third year: continue the research project and publish relevant articles in the journal; summary and analysis of the experimental results, write dissertations, paper review, apply for the thesis defense.
 
3)Master of Medicine (M.M):
 
The first year: complete the degree course study in the first semester; after finishing the course, enter into the clinical rotation of relevant secondary disciplines for 6 to 16 months clinical work training, according to the training program of each major.
 
The second year: after the clinical rotation of secondary disciplines, enter into the clinical work training of the third-level disciplines for at least 12 months; complete the study of specialized courses and professional foreign language.
 
The third year: continue the clinical work training, complete the reading report and case discussion; carry out research on clinical problems, write dissertations and publish works; complete the clinical ability assessment before graduation.
 
4)Doctorate of Medicine (M.D):
 
The First year: complete the degree course study in the first semester; after that, enter into the clinical skills and scientific research training for a total time at least 1 year, serve as chief resident or act on behalf of the attending doctor for more than six months.
 
The second year: continue the training of chief resident; complete the reading report and case discussion; finish the opening report and mid-term assessment; complete the study of specialized courses and professional foreign language.
 
The third year: serve as the assistant of chief physician, give guides to the junior doctors, take in the clinical comprehensive ability assessment; write dissertations closely with clinical work, and publish related works.
