Two World-Renowned Surgeons Appointed NMU Visiting Professors

The 2017 International College of Surgeons Conference was held in Nanjing on Nov. 9th. Two internationally renowned surgery experts, Dr. Yik-Hong Ho, Head of the Discipline of Surgery, School of Medicine, James Cook University, and Dr. Patrick Chen, President of the Australia National Section of International College of Surgeons, were awarded the visiting professorship of NMU. President Shen Hongbing presented the certificates to the two professors, and deans and directors of relevant schools and departments attended the meeting.

International Society of Surgeons (ICS) was established in 1935 in Geneva, Switzerland and is headquartered in Chicago, USA. It is a global organization dedicated to bringing together surgeons and experts of all nations, races and creeds to continuously advance excellence in the field of surgery and promote friendship throughout the world for the benefit of all human beings.
