Pharmaceutical experimental teaching demonstration center was established on the basis of the chemical laboratory and pharmaceutical laboratory in 2004 by school of pharmacy. Currently, the center has 70 experimental teachers, including 41 full-time teachers, 19 part-time teachers and 10 laboratory technicians. The center carries out the chemical and pharmaceutical experiments (including the confirmatory test, comprehensive experiment, design test, open experiment, innovative experiment, etc.) for all colleges of Nanjing medical university. The center is equipped with 16 experimental courses of basic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry, medical chemistry, physical chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, biopharmaceutics and pharmacokinetics, medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutical analysis, pharmacy, natural medicinal chemistry, pharmacognosy, and drug research and development. The center is equipped with a variety of large-scale precision instruments for teaching and research sharing, for the whole school and social services. The center encourages and organizes students to participate in various competitions for training their experimental skills, and achieved good results in the past.
