| The 2nd Jiangsu University Students Stomatologic Skill Competition and Youth Teachers Operating Skill Demonstration Held in NMU |

From May 25th-26th, 2018, the 2nd Jiangsu University Students Stomatologic Skill Competition and Youth Teachers Operating Skill Demonstration were successfully held in Wutai Campus of NMU. NMU Vice President Prof. Lin Wang, the leaders of Office of Student Affairs, Office of Academic Affairs and School of Stomatology attended. Besides, approximately 100 teachers from 15 hospitals and students majoring in stomatology participated in the competition and demonstration as well.
Vice President Wang extended a cordial welcome and appreciation to the participants in his speech. He expected that the teachers and students majoring in stomatology could take this stomatologic skill competition as a platform to demonstrate their spirits and skills and enhance the exchanges and communication and promote friendship among the hospitals through the clinical operation demonstration and by the competition, strengthen cooperation, blaze new trails in a pioneering spirit and continue to upgrade the teaching skills of stomatology.
Prof. Jiawei Zheng, the Vice Dean from Stomatology School of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Associate Professor Qian Wang from Stomatology School of Wuhan University were invited to be the main judges. In the final, after competing in knowledge contest and three stomatologic clinical skill contests, respectively rubber dam isolation technique and posterior teeth type II cavity preparation, all-ceramic crown in maxillary central incisor preparation, intraoral suture and cross bandage skill, students from 10 universities, such as Tianjin Medical University, Nantong University and Xuzhou Medical University, won First, Second, and Third Group Prizes and Single-item Awards.
